MediaMonkey Gold 5.0.4.2693 instal the new for windows

Every other aspect of the UI is unresponsive (menu, playlists, right clicking, etc.). I can scroll up and down the list and click on songs, but they won't play. I listened to 3 songs in a row, and all of a sudden the music stopped. Had to restart again.ĮDIT: another 3 hours, another freeze. Shift+Enter looks like it's attempting to open the dialogue, but it just fails, or gets lost or something. 2.png/fileĮDIT: 2 hours later, another crash just like the last one. The music is still playing, but the program is otherwise unresponsive. The overlay darkened, but the properties window never came up. Now I used Shift+Enter to open up the properties of a group of 28 tracks, and it froze. I'll update this post with more screenshots of these crashes when they come up.ĮDIT: Okay, almost went 2 hours without a crash. Sometimes these issues are fixed with a manual refresh (F5), but most of the time they're not - I have to restart mediamonkey in these cases. Still having issues with deleted items showing up in searches after deleting them, and items added to the library *not* showing up in searches. I'm no longer on the debug version, per the suggestion on the post, so I'm unable to submit bug reports. It's there, I have it, but it's just not showing any.

I haven't seen any album artwork in the last 2 or 3 updates. Also frozen, so I have to use Task Manager to close it in those cases again. Here's that screen:Ībout 25% of the time when I open mediamonkey, it opens in a 'full' screen as I have it, but everything is smooshed in the top left corner. Upon reopening the program, I went to delete the added songs so I could re-add them and have it complete the volume analysis, but it froze yet again.

Today, I added a few EPs (30 tracks), and 1/4 through analyzing the volume/writing tags, the program locked up. Yesterday, I did an library optimization which crashed halfway through, saying something about how it was unable to write over MM5.db with MM5.db or something. 3 times so far this morning, I've had to go into task manager to close the program fully (including the sub-processes), since it's not closing properly itself when it's crashing. Multiple times *a day* I'm experiencing crashes. Normally I can tolerate a hiccup here and there, but this is awful. I run it on a separate monitor by itself, maximized.Īll sorts of crashes. Preface: I'm on Windows 10, using the newest version of MM5 beta, not the debug version.
